I discovered Sean through a few mutual friends; I learned more about his work through his wonderful book that I started one evening, and I could barely put it down.

It’s called *[Masterpiece in Progress: A Daily Guide to a Life Well Crafted] —* and it’s choke full of ideas, mental models, and advice. It consists of 365 daily motivational passages. In one of them, Sean writes that life is full of teachers if you know where to look. I couldn’t agree more. Everyone has a story, and everyone can teach us something if we only care to ask and listen.

Soon after we recorded this episode, Sean released another book — *[Insights of the Ages: Quotes for a Life Well Crafted]—* which is also a delightful read. There is a lot of wisdom distilled in the quotes.
